Overview
Circle suspicious content on a webpage to get a quick evidence-based fact check.
I was tired of seeing misinformation spread so easily across social media, from X and Instagram to Reddit and Facebook. So I built ClaimCircle: a Chrome extension that lets you fact-check almost anything by simply circling it. Just move your mouse pointer around a post, paragraph, image, or piece of content, and ClaimCircle captures the relevant context and checks it for you. No switching tabs, no copying text, no opening ChatGPT, no typing out prompts. It provides a verdict with supporting sources when relevant evidence is found. Just circle it. Check it. Move on.
