Omarchy Browser Plugin Manager

Adds Install/Uninstall buttons to installable plugins on plugins.omarchy.org. Requires the Omarchy shell plugin and native host.

This add-on is the browser companion of the "Browser Plugin Manager" shell plugin shipped with Omarchy OS, an Arch-based Linux distribution. It adds Install, Uninstall, Enable, and Disable buttons to plugin pages and the catalog on https://plugins.omarchy.org, so you can manage plugins right from the marketplace instead of typing commands in a terminal. REQUIREMENTS - You run Omarchy OS (or have manually installed its Browser Plugin Manager shell plugin). - The plugin's native messaging host is registered on your system (it is set up automatically when you install the shell plugin, or via ./bin/plugin-installer-setup from the source repository). HOW IT WORKS When you open a plugin page on https://plugins.omarchy.org, the add-on performs a local handshake with the native messaging host. The buttons only appear when the marketplace lists the plugin as installable and that handshake succeeds. Pressing a button opens a desktop confirmation wizard that shows exactly what will happen and only then runs the distribution's official "omarchy plugin" command. Without the shell plugin installed, the add-on does nothing at all: no buttons, no changes to the website. PRIVACY The add-on has no server, no analytics, and collects no data. It communicates only with the native messaging host installed on your own machine, and only while you visit https://plugins.omarchy.org. All installation logic, catalog validation, and user confirmation live on your machine. DESKTOP ONLY Native messaging is a desktop feature, so this add-on works on desktop Firefox 140 and newer; it has no function on Android.
