ClearTerms Clipper is the companion browser extension for ClearTerms (clearterms.co). Understand complex legal agreements, terms of service, and privacy policies before you click "I Agree". With a single click, ClearTerms Clipper extracts the page text and runs automated AI analysis to provide: • Plain-language summaries of dense legal documents • Key obligations, user rights, and restrictions • Risk assessments highlighting red flags (binding arbitration, auto-renewals, broad liability waivers, unilateral term changes) • Actionable questions and key takeaways HOW IT WORKS: 1. Open any webpage containing a contract, terms of service, or privacy policy. 2. Click the ClearTerms icon in your Chrome toolbar. 3. Choose your document type (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Contract, NDA, etc.) and click "Send this page to ClearTerms". 4. The analysis opens instantly in your ClearTerms dashboard. PRIVACY & SECURITY: • Runs only on demand when you explicitly click "Send this page" — never passively scans your browsing history. • Uses Mozilla Readability to cleanly extract document text without sending unnecessary scripts or tracker data. • Authenticates securely via token to your ClearTerms account.
