Chat with your local Ollama AI models right from the browser
Ollama Client is a browser extension that connects to your Ollama server, letting you chat with any model you have installed. No cloud services, no subscriptions, no data leaving your machine. Just open the popup or side panel and start a conversation. Talk to any Ollama model Select from all models available on your server. Whether you run Llama, Mistral, Gemma, or any other model, they all show up automatically. Chat with web pages Turn on "Include page" to send the content of the page you are viewing to the AI. Ask it to summarize an article, explain a technical page, or answer questions about what you are reading. The extension extracts clean text from the page and sends it as context. Attach files Drop in images, code files, CSVs, markdown, and many other text formats. Vision models can analyze your images. Text files get included directly in the conversation. Use commands as quick prompts Pick from built in commands like "Summarize" and "Explain," or create your own custom commands. Commands act as system prompts that guide the AI response for a single message. Manage multiple servers Connect to more than one Ollama instance. Add local or remote endpoints, each with its own URL, name, and optional auth token. Switch between them with one click. Track your context usage A small gauge shows how much of the model's context window you have used. You get a warning when the conversation is getting too long, so you know when to start a new chat. Conversation history Your chats are saved locally and restored when you reopen the extension. Browse past conversations, continue where you left off, or delete ones you no longer need. Side panel support Pin the extension as a side panel in Chrome so you can chat while browsing. Page context updates automatically when you switch tabs.
