Old Classic Admin for Shopify

Bring back a familiar Shopify admin: search at the top, hide Sidekick, light sidebar, full-width pages, compact tables.

Not a fan of the new Shopify admin layout? This extension puts some of the familiar things back. It only changes how the admin looks in your browser. It does not touch your store, your data, or your Shopify account. What it does (every tweak has its own switch): • Search at the top – a search bar sits at the top center again, instead of inside the sidebar. It opens Shopify's own search, so results and the Cmd/Ctrl+K shortcut work as usual. • Hide Sidekick – removes the Sidekick panel and the floating "Work with Sidekick" bar. • Classic colors – a light grey sidebar with dark text instead of the black one, including the Settings menu. • Full-width pages – Settings and other narrow pages use the whole width of your screen. • Compact tables – tighter rows in product and order lists, so more fit on screen (off by default). If Shopify changes something and a tweak looks off, click the extension icon and switch that tweak off. Nothing else is affected. First install: a welcome page opens once, where you can pick your tweaks. It also lists other Shopify apps from the same developer (ecomfaktory), with plain links you can ignore. Privacy: the extension collects no data, makes no network requests, and has no account or tracking. Your on/off choices are saved in your own browser (Chrome sync storage).
