Aurora Lyrics brings synced lyrics, artwork tools, and themes to YouTube Music.

🎵 Word-by-word lyrics for YouTube Music! Aurora Lyrics puts synced lyrics in the Lyrics tab on YouTube Music, and adds a few extras around them. Every syllable is placed from the track's own timing data, so the highlight follows the vocal instead of running on a timer. What you get 🎤 • Word-level sync in the Lyrics tab: the line being sung is bright and the lines around it step back • A fullscreen view over the artwork, with a per-track offset nudge when a sync runs early or late • Translation of foreign lines into English • Lyrics from the Spicy Lyrics API first, then LRCLIB, with a manual search in the panel when the automatic lookup misses • Every sync credited on screen, so you can see who timed it Add-ons and snippets 🎨 All optional, and all installed from the panel in YouTube Music: • Aurora Bloom: a full-page backdrop warped from the playing artwork, with brightness, saturation, contrast and blur controls. Its colour also tints the player bar, sliders and switches. • A frosted player bar, and a wider lyric column. • Aurora Flow: eased transitions, so the page stops snapping between states. • Next Up: the next track shown in the player bar with its cover art. Click it to skip ahead. • Song notes: plain-text notes saved per track, kept in your own browser. • Sleep timer: fade the volume over 10 to 60 seconds and pause at the end, or after a set time. • Picture-in-picture lyrics: a floating window with the live lines, so they stay visible in another tab. • Snippets, if you want them: arrow-key seeking, a now-playing rail pinned to the right, desktop notifications on every track change, and a couple of home-page layout tweaks. No account, no analytics, no server 🔒 The extension sends the song's title, artist, album and duration to the lyric services, and nothing about you.
