It was working a few months ago, and it made Wikipedia articles feel very readable. However, as of the date of writing, it does not work. Hope the dev fixes this extension, as it's unique and I can't find this functionality anywhere else.

Very cool! I Any chance this can apply to the read: page within Microsoft Edge (Chrome based browser) It's the page accessed via immersive Reader mode in Edge When I enter immersive mode via right clicking the wiki page background, the extension does not remove citations in that page.

Since today, it stopped working. Suddenly it does NOT remove citations. Can you fix this?

Works in english, but not other languages. recommend changing your regular expression to something like this. <sup.+?cit.+?<\/sup>
