Pick a font, choose another, and swap instantly. Change several fonts at once.

SwapFont lets you preview different fonts on a live web page without touching its code. It is made for designers and developers who want to compare typography on real content. Click the toolbar icon and hover over text to see its CSS font name. Click a font, choose a replacement, and it applies immediately. - Search the bundled Google Fonts list, or pick a font already used on the same page - Set up multiple source and replacement pairs per page - Click a pair to edit it while the swap stays active - Remove one pair or undo all - Use the side panel or a draggable floating panel, switching without losing swaps - Remember main-page font pairs for a site and restore them on future visits Enable Remember for this site to save its font pairs locally. Chrome asks for access to that site. Saved pairs return after reloads and browser restarts. Edits update them; Undo all clears them. Turn remembering off to forget the pairs while keeping the current preview until reload. Otherwise, reloading clears swaps. Embedded-frame and single-element swaps stay temporary. SwapFont has no account, analytics, backend or remote JavaScript. Page text is handled locally and never uploaded by SwapFont. Site access starts after you click the toolbar icon. Remembering requests optional persistent site access. The font cache, panel preference and remembered site/font names are stored locally. Loading a Google Font shares the selected font and normal connection information with Google. SwapFont works on ordinary HTML text, not images, canvas or PDFs. It does not run on browser internal pages or the Chrome Web Store, and reaches embedded frames only when accessible. Font names come from the CSS font family, so rendered glyphs can vary with fallbacks. Page-picked replacements must be available on the page. Requires desktop Chrome 116 or later.
