Plays a configurable sound when slow pages appear ready, with optional enhanced ServiceNow detection.

Stop watching slow pages load. Load Chime plays a configurable audio alert when a webpage finishes loading after your selected time threshold, so you can switch tasks instead of repeatedly checking slow applications and websites. Basic full-page alerts work immediately without requiring access to website content. Enhanced ServiceNow detection can be enabled separately when you need deeper ServiceNow awareness. FEATURES • Set a minimum loading time before an alert is played • Default threshold of 10 seconds • Choose from four built-in notification sounds • Upload your own custom ringtone • Adjust notification volume • Quickly enable or disable alerts • Basic full-page load alerts across websites • Optional enhanced readiness detection for ServiceNow • ServiceNow access is requested only if you enable enhanced detection BASIC FULL-PAGE DETECTION Load Chime detects normal browser navigations and page reloads. When Chrome reports that the page has finished loading, Load Chime checks how long the load took and plays your selected sound if it exceeded your configured threshold. This basic mode does not require access to website content. ENHANCED SERVICENOW DETECTION Enhanced ServiceNow detection is optional. When enabled, Load Chime requests permission to run on service-now.com pages and provides deeper readiness detection for many: • ServiceNow Classic UI scenarios • gsft_main frame loads • Visible ServiceNow loading indicators • Workspace and Next Experience route changes The extension waits for supported loading indicators to disappear and the page to appear ready before playing the selected sound. OTHER WEBSITES Outside enhanced ServiceNow detection, Load Chime uses normal full-page browser navigation and reload events. Because many modern websites behave like single-page applications, basic detection may not detect: • Single-page application route changes • Background AJAX activity • Embedded-frame navigation • Continuously polling or streaming pages PRIVACY • No analytics • No advertisements • No tracking • No user accounts • No external servers • Basic mode does not require website-content access • ServiceNow access is optional and requested only when enhanced detection is enabled • ServiceNow readiness information is processed locally • Preferences and optional custom audio remain in Chrome storage Load Chime is an independent productivity extension and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ServiceNow, Inc.
