Overview

Alternate viewer for Oracle Integration Cloud integration blueprints with interactive tree, search, filter, and export

View, search, and compare Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integration blueprints in your browser — without waiting for the heavy designer to load. Open the .iar archive directly from OIC, or upload one from your disk for offline analysis. ──────────────────────────────────────── WHAT IT DOES ──────────────────────────────────────── OIC's built-in designer is heavy and slow to navigate large orchestrations. The OIC Integration Viewer renders the same blueprint as a clean, interactive vertical tree you can search, filter, color, fullscreen and compare side-by-side — all in your browser, with no data ever leaving your machine. ──────────────────────────────────────── KEY FEATURES ──────────────────────────────────────── • Two load modes – Import Live: download the .iar archive directly from OIC using your existing session. – Upload Archive: open any .iar or .zip file from disk. No OIC access needed. • Interactive vertical tree – Full orchestration with collapsible branches. – Nested scopes, loops, conditional branches, fault handlers — all in one view. • Powerful search – Match across activity names, types, XPath expressions, and descriptions. – Live highlighting and quick-navigation between matches. • Type filter – Show only assigns, invokes, scopes, switches, while-loops, etc. – Combine with search for precise targeting in massive integrations. • Side-by-side compare – Diff two integrations or two versions of the same integration. – Synchronized scrolling, structural highlights for added/removed/changed nodes. • Archive file viewer – Browse all artifacts inside the .iar: project.xml, applications.xml, processors.xml, .jca connection files, .nxsd schemas, expr.properties. – Useful for debugging schema, connection, or expression issues that the designer hides. • Themes – Light, Dark, High-Contrast, Solarized. – Per-activity-type color overrides, saved per theme. • XPath preview – Configurable inline preview length (10–500 chars). – Click to expand the full expression. • Standalone offline mode – Open the bundled standalone.html in any browser with no extension installed. – Useful for sharing integrations with colleagues who don't have OIC access. • Project support – Integration from project is supported by creating temporary deployment with single integration inside(requires user approval) ──────────────────────────────────────── WHY USE IT ──────────────────────────────────────── • Faster than the OIC designer for inspection-only tasks. • Works offline once an .iar is loaded. • Compare versions or two completely different integrations side by side without juggling tabs. • Inspect schemas, connection files, and expression properties that are otherwise buried in the designer UI. Common workflows it accelerates: – Code reviews for integrations. – Auditing changes across versions. – Onboarding new team members who need to read existing flows. ──────────────────────────────────────── GETTING STARTED ──────────────────────────────────────── 1. Install the extension and pin it to your browser toolbar. 2. (Optional, for live mode) Sign in to your OIC console at design.integration.<region>.ocp.oraclecloud.com. 3. Click the toolbar icon, then click "Open Viewer". 4. In the viewer toolbar: – Type the integration code and version (e.g. MY_INT / 01.00.0000) and click "Import Live", OR – Click "Upload Archive" and pick any .iar or .zip from your computer. 5. Use the search box, type filters, and theme controls to navigate the blueprint. 6. To compare, open a second integration in compare mode from the toolbar. ──────────────────────────────────────── PRIVACY & SECURITY ──────────────────────────────────────── • No data leaves your browser. The extension does not contact any third-party server, analytics service, or telemetry endpoint. • When loading from OIC, the archive is fetched over HTTPS using your existing OIC session cookies, exactly as the official designer would. • When loading from disk, no network is used at all. • Settings (theme, color overrides, XPath preview length) are stored in chrome.storage.local on your machine. • Permissions used: – activeTab — inject the viewer overlay into the current OIC tab. – storage — persist your theme and viewer preferences. – scripting — inject viewer assets when launched from the popup. – Host access *://*.oraclecloud.com/* — match OIC console domains for live archive download.
