Your internet. Your rules. Kontur brings your own proxy servers and website routing rules into one clear workspace. Connect Chrome through an HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 or SOCKS5 proxy, and choose which sites use it. CHOOSE WHERE YOUR TRAFFIC GOES • All sites: use the selected proxy for browser web requests, with a separate list of sites that connect directly. • Selected sites: use the proxy only for domains in your list. Other sites connect directly. • Switch modes in the toolbar popup. Both lists stay saved, and switching a mode while the proxy is off keeps it off. • Add the current website to the appropriate list from the popup. • Include subdomains automatically and optionally bypass local addresses. KEEP YOUR SERVERS ORGANIZED Add, edit, name, search and switch between server profiles. HTTP and HTTPS support usernames and passwords. SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 work without authentication. Paste a proxy URL to fill in a profile quickly. BRING YOUR SITE LISTS Import domains from supported proxy configuration JSON files, Kontur backups, JSON arrays or plain text. Preview the domains, choose the destination list, and merge without duplicates. Site import extracts website rules; it does not import proxy credentials. Disabled rules and unsupported regular expressions are skipped. Apply the rules when ready. STAY IN CONTROL Check which saved route applies to a domain without sending a request to that site. Back up your configuration as JSON; usernames and passwords are excluded unless you choose to include them. Restoring a full backup replaces the configuration and turns the proxy off. ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN Kontur follows Chrome's interface language on first use: Russian for Russian-language Chrome and English for other languages. You can choose Automatic, English or Russian in the app or popup. LOCAL SETTINGS Profiles, credentials and rules are stored locally in your Chrome profile, without additional password encryption. No analytics, advertising or cloud sync. The extension does not send these settings or browsing history to the developer. When enabled, selected traffic and any required proxy login are sent to the server you configured. BEFORE YOU CONNECT Kontur is a proxy manager, not a proxy service: bring a working server. It manages Chrome web traffic, not the whole device, and is not a system VPN. HTTP/SOCKS do not encrypt the connection to the proxy. An HTTPS proxy provides TLS for that connection. Chrome does not support SOCKS username/password authentication. VLESS, VMess, Shadowsocks and WireGuard require an external client offering a local HTTP/SOCKS endpoint.
