not Opti's SaaS Companion
Overview
Dock your own tools into the Optimizely SaaS CMS sidebar, see the open content ID, and add custom rich-text style buttons.
not Opti's SaaS Companion adds a few things to complement the Optimizely SaaS CMS's own admin interface: • Dock your own tools — configure any web-based tool with a URL and it appears as a native-looking icon in the CMS sidebar or full-page extension's view, no Optimizely app registration required. • HTTP proxy to facilitate data transfer between nOCP apps and the CMS - used in the downloadable Category Explorer nOCP app to push categories into CMS properties (as an example). • Custom formatting definitions — set up your own rich-text editor style buttons (a class name or raw CSS), scoped to whichever editor configurations is applicable for each one. • Turn TinyMCE Minimal configurations into plain text inputs. • Import/Export of environments, apps and configurations as well as the ability load from a Global endpoint so your entire content editing team has access to the same tools and configurations. Everything is configured per environment, so a staging CMS and a production CMS can have entirely different tools and styles. This extension is unofficial and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Optimizely.
