Almanac (formerly Tabby)
1 rating
)Overview
The seasons, one tab at a time.
**Your new tab could look a lot better.** Almanac fills it with a full-screen photo that follows the seasons, plus the links you actually click. 🍂 **Photos that follow the calendar** Each new tab shows a photo from the current season, and neighboring seasons blend: late winter slips in the odd spring morning. In December, holiday scenes appear more and more often until Christmas Day. 🪟 **Frosted glass that matches the photo** Your links and clock sit on panels of tinted glass that take their color from each photo, so they look like part of the picture. 🔗 **Your links, organized** Sort your sites into groups like Work or Reading, with optional site icons. 💼 **Different links for different computers** Keep separate link sets, say Work and Home, and switch between them. Each computer remembers which set it shows. ⏰ **A clock that stays out of the way** Show the date, the time, both or neither. ☁️ **Synced and private** Everything syncs through your Chrome account, and you can export your links anytime as a backup. No ads, no tracking, and no servers: your data never leaves Chrome. **Getting started:** open a new tab, click the gear in the top-right corner, and choose Settings to add your links.
