Overview

Automatically closes leftover redirect tabs like Zoom launch pages and VPN confirmation screens after a delay you choose.

Auto Tab Closer watches your tabs and closes the ones that match your rules — after a delay you control. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add URL rules for pages you want cleaned up (supports * wildcards). 2. Set a close delay (from a few seconds to several minutes). 3. When a matching tab opens, it closes automatically once the timer ends. FEATURES • URL rules with wildcards — e.g. *zoom.us*, *globalprotect*, vpn.company.com • Adjustable close delay with quick presets (5s, 10s, 30s, 1m) or a custom value • Keep the active tab open — never close the tab you are looking at • Close duplicate tabs — keep the most recently used copy of a page • Close long-open tabs — optionally close tabs that have been open past a timeout • Live matching list — see which open tabs will be closed and the countdown • One-click pause — disable the extension instantly from the popup • Keyboard shortcut — Alt+Shift+C to open the popup GREAT FOR • Zoom / Meet launch leftovers • VPN / GlobalProtect confirmation pages • SSO / Okta success redirects • Any site that leaves a useless tab behind
