NoteScreen — session notes & billing check
Overview
Records sessions, pastes notes into SimplePractice/TherapyNotes, and checks CPT/ICD-10 billing rules — all in your browser.
NoteScreen helps behavioral-health clinicians catch billing-denial risks before they submit a claim, and — with NoteScreen Scribe — turns a recorded session directly into a finished progress note. Session Check (free, no account needed): paste a session note or treatment plan along with your CPT and ICD-10 codes, and NoteScreen flags likely denial triggers — a time-versus-code mismatch, a missing telehealth modifier, an expired plan review date, and more — in under two minutes. The check runs entirely in your browser; nothing you paste is ever uploaded or stored. NoteScreen Scribe (sign-in required): record a session with your client's consent, and Scribe transcribes it and formats a clinical progress note — SOAP, DAP, BIRP, or your own structure — dated to the session and ready to paste into SimplePractice or TherapyNotes. Built for HIPAA-sensitive workflows, with signed Business Associate Agreements covering transcription and infrastructure. NoteScreen is a documentation-support tool, not billing, coding, or legal advice — it helps you catch issues before you submit, it does not guarantee any particular billing outcome.
