Offline Switch
Overview
Block Internet access with one click. Disable browser access or disconnect your entire PC network using Ethernet or Wi-Fi
Disconnect your web browser or your entire PC from the internet with Offline Switch. Offline Switch lets you instantly disconnect your web browser from the internet. You can also toggle it using a keyboard shortcut. The extension uses an ON/OFF button. It starts in OFF (gray). Click it to switch it to ON (green). It includes 2 options: 🌐 Browser only: If you choose this option, only your browser loses internet access while your PC remains connected. You can refresh the page, and everything stays disconnected. No installation is required. It works immediately after adding the extension. 🔌 Everything (Ethernet + Wi-Fi): If you choose this option, your PC is completely disconnected from the internet by disabling your network adapters. However, it requires a small native component that is free and easy to install. Note: If you choose the "Everything (Ethernet + Wi-Fi)" option, you'll have 3 additional choices: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Both. You can choose any of them to disconnect the internet. Why Offline Switch? 1. Isolation: Disconnects all internet connections for the browser you're using while keeping other browsers connected. 2. Clean design: Includes light and dark themes. 3. Quick toggle: One click to disconnect, one click to reconnect. 4. Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + X to instantly enable or disable the extension. 5. Multilingual: Available in English and Spanish.
