Overview
A private, extension-only workday countdown with configurable schedules, events, and optional reminders.
Office Escape is a private, local-first workday countdown that helps you track your working day and see exactly how long remains until you finish. Configure your working days, start and finish times, custom events, and display preferences. Office Escape keeps the current status visible through its pop-up and toolbar badge, whether you are waiting for work to begin, actively working, finished for the day, or working overtime. Features: - Live workday countdown and progress display - Custom schedules for each day, including overnight shifts - Personal recurring events during your working day - Configurable toolbar badge - Optional event notifications and friendly workday nudges - Start early, finish early, overtime, day-off, and extra-shift controls - 12-hour and 24-hour time formats - A discreet “Look Busy” cover page when you need it - A responsive settings page for managing everything in one place Your privacy matters: Office Escape works locally inside your browser. Your schedule, events, preferences, reminder state, and work-session information remain in Chrome’s local extension storage. The extension does not require an account, cloud service, or website access. It does not read your browsing history, open tabs, cookies, webpage content, or credentials. Notification permission is optional and requested only when you choose to enable notifications. No account. No tracking. No unnecessary permissions. Just a clear view of your workday.
