Google Country Override
Overview
Search Google as if you're in another country while keeping results in your language. Pick any country and pin your favourites.
See Google results the way they look from another country — without switching your language. Google Country Override adds a small country selector to the Google Search results page. Pick any country and your search re-runs as if you were there, so you can compare local results, research a market, check how a brand or product appears abroad, or see region-specific news and prices. Features • Search from any country — the full list of countries is one click away. • Your language stays put — changing country never flips the page into another language. • Sticky — your choice carries across every search until you change it or pick "Auto (my location)". • Favourites — star the countries you use most and they stay pinned to the top. • Strict mode — optionally restrict results to pages from the selected country. • Hides mismatched ads — Google's sponsored results still target your real location, so they're hidden while a country is overridden (turn this off any time). • Light & dark — matches Google's own theme. • Private — no account, no tracking, nothing leaves your browser. How it works Open the dropdown in the corner of the results page and pick a country. The extension adjusts the search to that country while keeping your interface language fixed. Choose "Auto (my location)" any time to return to normal. Privacy The extension runs only on Google Search, stores your settings in your own browser, and sends no data to anyone. See the privacy policy for details.
