Overview

Run a miniature harbor. Route ships, work with the tide, upgrade your piers, and keep every departure moving. Offline.

A little harbor. A beautifully busy day. HARBORSHIFT is a self-contained harbor-management game about routes, timing and making a small port work well. Select an arriving vessel, reserve a compatible pier, choose the deep-water loop or the tidal shortcut, and bring the whole manifest home before the watch ends. Six illustrated harbors contain 18 watches with different schedules, geography and operating pressures. Four vessel classes need different handling: general cargo, refrigerated cargo, passenger ferries and heavy bulk ships. Piers are not interchangeable, a reserved channel cannot be used by two vessels at once, and heavy ships need enough water throughout their crossing. Tides and lifting bridges turn a short route into a planning decision rather than a guaranteed shortcut. A delayed ship tells you what it is waiting for: channel clearance, water depth, a bridge opening, an available tug or warehouse space. Set a priority vessel, improve unloading, add truck capacity or invest in tug availability to resolve the real bottleneck. The harbor itself is the main interface. Illustrated ships move along their assigned routes, cranes respond to work at the piers, and a compact dispatch deck keeps the next decision close to the map. There is no account dashboard, resource-clicking treadmill or hidden online economy. Pause at any time to think. Continue at 1x, 2x or 4x speed; the same fixed-step rules drive every speed. Best watch ratings are saved, and a free-harbor mode provides an ongoing local harbor without a mission deadline. Closing or leaving the game does not create offline damage or lost income to repair later. Progress, the active harbor and your sound and motion preferences stay in this browser profile. Local data & settings includes JSON backup export, validated import and confirmed deletion. Sound is optional and initially off. The game includes a field guide and recovery messages for unavailable or damaged saves. HARBORSHIFT requests no extension permissions, has no webpage access, contains no analytics or advertisements, and does not download gameplay code. Play in its compact toolbar popup or open the same game in its own larger tab. The port is fictional: its depths, schedules and operating rules are game mechanics, not real navigation advice.
