Opera forgets my settings

I installed your extension onto Opera on Windows 11 in a Dell laptop, after ticking and unticking, it works all right. When I relaunch Opera, the extension defaults to its just installed state and lost all the ticks and unticks I put on it. It works no problem on my Asus Vivobook laptop also on Windows 11. Is there any thing I can do to the Dell laptop you can suggest?

Disable startup sound causes the extension not loaded

I like the sounds for new tab, but don't want to hear the startup sound.
When disabling this startup sound, the extension is no longer working. Can this be fixed?
