Overview
Read the books you own in any language — inline translation, dictionary cards, Japanese vertical text, TTS, highlights and notes.
Polypage is an e-book reader for the books you already own, built for reading in a language that isn't your first. READ IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE • Inline translation — show a translation under every paragraph, or translate just the sentence you select, using the translation service you prefer. • Dictionary cards — look up a word in the dictionaries you trust without leaving the page, with pronunciation audio. Add any web dictionary yourself. • Japanese vertical text — proper tategaki with furigana, right-to-left page turns and two-page spreads. • Listen along — text-to-speech that highlights the sentence being read (browser voices, or your own cloud text-to-speech key). • Parallel reading — open an original and its translation side by side. KEEP WHAT YOU READ • Highlights in four colours and three styles, notes, sticky notes and a notebook for every book. • Turn a quote into an image card to share. • Export your highlights and notes as text, or bring in highlights you made in other reading apps. YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR FILES • Opens the e-book and comic files you already have, in the common formats. • Add books from your computer or from the cloud storage you already use. • Book files stay on your device. Optional sync carries reading position, highlights and notes only. Free during beta. No ads, no tracking.
