Couch Controller

Overview
Use your game controller like a TV remote: scroll, control video playback, switch tabs, go fullscreen, set custom bindings.
Turn any game controller into a remote for your browser. Couch Controller lets you kick back on the sofa and control web video, scrolling, and tabs with an Xbox, PlayStation, or any standard gamepad — no keyboard or mouse needed. PLAYBACK • Play/pause, mute, volume up/down • Seek forward/backward with the triggers or D-pad • Playback speed up/down • Toggle fullscreen (video or whole window) BROWSING • Scroll pages with the analog stick, jump to top/bottom • Switch, open, close, and reopen tabs • Browser back/forward, reload • Virtual cursor with controller click • On-screen keyboard for typing searches with the controller FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE • Rebind every button to any action • Combo bindings — press two or more buttons together for a separate action, e.g. LB + RB to open a new tab • Open a specific site with one press or combo, e.g. netflix.com in a new tab • Custom key press bindings — make a button type any keyboard key (great for site shortcuts like YouTube's "c" for captions) • Tune scroll speed, seek step, volume step, stick deadzone, and the on-screen HUD An on-screen HUD shows feedback for every action so you always know what happened. GOOD TO KNOW • The controller drives the tab that has focus; Chrome's own pages (settings, new tab, Web Store) can't be controlled by extensions • Works with any controller the browser recognizes (Gamepad API) PRIVACY No data is collected — ever. Your settings are stored in Chrome's sync storage and never leave your browser.
