Tab Glance
Overview
See all your Chrome windows at a glance and find the tabs eating the most memory.
Tab Glance gives you one dashboard for every Chrome window you have open, so you can see everything at a glance instead of hunting through the tab strip. • Every window shown as a card, sorted so the heaviest is first • Each tab ranked by estimated memory, with a heat bar and the single biggest "memory hog" flagged • Click any tab to jump straight to it • Put a tab to sleep to free its memory without losing it, or close it outright • "Free up" sleeps every background tab in a window at once • Move tabs between windows by drag-and-drop or a quick menu • Filter, sort, and auto-refresh Memory is estimated from each page's JavaScript heap. It's a reliable ranking of your heaviest tabs — it reads lower than Chrome's Task Manager, which also counts images, media and GPU memory. Privacy: Tab Glance works fully offline and collects nothing by default. An optional, off-by-default "anonymous usage stats" setting sends only coarse events about which features are used — never your tabs, titles or URLs. A separate "memory by site" report is manual and shows you exactly what it will send before anything leaves your browser. See the privacy policy for full details.
