Acrylic veil on YouTube thumbnails. Shorts are hidden.

BlurTube places a soft acrylic veil over YouTube thumbnails, so you choose what to watch from titles instead of eye-catching images. It also hides YouTube Shorts. Three switches in the popup: - Blur thumbnails (on by default). - Show hover previews (off by default). When on, hovering a video clears its image and plays the preview. - Blur search results (off by default). When on, results pages get the same veil. Shorts are hidden everywhere on youtube.com: shelves, cards, the guide entry and the channel tab. The interface is available in English and French and follows your browser language. Privacy: no account, no data collection, no network requests. Your three settings are saved locally with the browser's storage. The popup shows an optional "Buy me a coffee" link that opens buymeacoffee.com in a new tab only if you click it. Works on youtube.com and www.youtube.com. Embedded players, music.youtube.com and m.youtube.com are not affected.
