Nova for Chrome brings the Compass research assistant into your browser side panel. Ask questions, understand selected pages, compare sources, and turn findings into a package you can review before sending to another Compass assistant. - Explain selected text and ask questions about pages you deliberately capture. - Get answers with references to selected evidence and available web research. - Include organisation knowledge when you explicitly enable it and your account has access. - Draft, translate, brainstorm, and work through everyday questions alongside your research. - Prepare handoffs for Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, review their contents, and explicitly send them through Compass. A compatible Compass account and API key are required for connected features. Available models, knowledge sources, and service access depend on your account and organisation configuration. The extension does not itself create or edit Office documents. A delivery confirmation means the handoff was received, not that the receiving assistant has completed the work. Page capture requires site permission. The API key is held in browser-session storage. Approved handoff packages and some browser settings are stored locally across sessions; session-only credentials do not mean all extension data is temporary.
