cexscan puts a live crypto market scanner in Chrome's side panel. See which coins are moving right now, get alerted when one pumps, dumps or spikes in volume, and follow the coins you care about, without leaving the page you're on. Click the toolbar icon to open the panel. It stays open while you switch tabs, and when you're on an exchange trading page it shows that coin automatically. WHAT'S INSIDE • Top movers: the biggest gainers, losers and volume leaders on the major spot and futures exchanges, over 5 minutes to 4 hours, refreshed every few seconds. • Price race: a live, animated race of the top gainers and losers, updated every 5 seconds. • Alerts: price pumps, price dumps, volume spikes and high-rating signals as they happen. Filter by exchange and event type, or show only coins on your watchlist. • Desktop notifications: alerts arrive even when the panel is closed, with an unread count on the toolbar icon. Click a notification to open the trading page. • Watchlist: star a coin in Movers, Alerts or on its coin page to track its price and 24h and 7d change in one list. • Coin pages: search any symbol for price, market cap rank, rating, price change from 24h to year-to-date, all-time high and low, volume and turnover, spot/margin/futures availability, and recent trading activity on the exchange. • Dark and light themes that follow your system setting, or choose one yourself. PRIVACY No account or sign-in. Your watchlist, alert filters and theme are saved in Chrome on your device. The extension checks the address of your active tab only to recognize exchange trading pages; that address never leaves your device. Market data is loaded from cexscan.com. Privacy practices tab Single purpose Show live crypto exchange market data from cexscan.com (top movers, price race, coin details, watchlist) in Chrome's side panel, and notify the user about price and volume alerts. Permission justifications sidePanel: The extension's whole interface runs in Chrome's side panel. The permission is needed to register the panel and open it when the user clicks the toolbar icon. storage: Saves the user's watchlist, alert filters (exchanges, event types, watchlist-only) and theme choice locally, and keeps the timestamp of the last alert seen so the same alert is not shown twice. Nothing is synced or sent anywhere. alarms: Schedules a check for new cexscan alerts once a minute, so background alerts keep working while the side panel is closed and the service worker is asleep. notifications: Shows a desktop notification when a new price pump, price dump, volume spike or high-rating alert matches the user's filters. Notifications can be turned off in the Alerts tab. tabs: Reads the URL of the active tab to recognize exchange trading pages and show that coin in the panel. Also opens the trading page in a new tab when the user clicks a notification. The URL is only matched locally and never sent anywhere. Host permission (https://www.cexscan.com/*): Fetches market data, coin details and alerts from the cexscan.com API. No other sites are accessed. Remote code: No, I am not using remote code. All JavaScript is bundled in the package; cexscan.com only returns JSON data. Data usage The extension does not collect or transmit user data. Leave every data-type box unchecked and tick the three certifications (no selling, no unrelated use, no creditworthiness use).
