Understand Taobao and Tmall shopping pages in English, with translation running on your own device. Affiliate disclosure: The optional Buy with KakoBuy button opens the selected product using our fixed referral link when you click it. Qualifying purchases may earn us a commission. KakoBuy offers welcome coupons to eligible newcomers under its own terms; this extension does not guarantee a particular coupon amount or savings. You can turn the button off in settings. • Translate supported interface labels, product titles and page text into English. • Translate the browser tab title and restore it with original Chinese. • See a Translating indicator beside a pending product title. • Translate newly loaded text on supported shopping pages as you scroll. • Switch back to original Chinese from the extension icon. • See approximate converted prices beside original CNY amounts. USD is the default; choose another available currency in settings. • Open the current product in KakoBuy from a wide button in the purchase section. The translation model is included. No translation account, API key or paid translation subscription is required. Page text is processed locally, with no translation provider receiving it. Settings and reference exchange rates are stored locally. The extension has no analytics or telemetry. Exchange rates come from Frankfurter. The rate service receives ordinary connection metadata, such as IP addresses; requests do not contain page text or product URLs. Clicking Buy with KakoBuy sends the canonical product URL and referral code to KakoBuy in the opened link. Those external services apply their own policies. Translations can be inaccurate, especially for brand names and short product titles. Text inside images is not translated. Price estimates exclude shipping, taxes and agent/payment fees. The bundled model makes this a larger download, and speed depends on your device. Recognized login, account and checkout pages are excluded. The extension does not enter form values or place orders.
