Bookmark YouTube videos directly into your Obsidian vault
Bookmark YouTube videos directly into your Obsidian vault with one click. When you're on a YouTube video, click the extension icon, pick a document name, optionally add notes, and save. The video gets appended to a markdown file in your vault using Obsidian's built-in URI handler. Features: - One-click save from any YouTube video page - Multiple vault support - Pre-configured document names with fuzzy filtering - Optional notes per bookmark - Keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Y to open, Alt+Shift+Y to quick save) - Clean dark theme UI - No server, no API, no Obsidian plugin required Each bookmark is saved as clean markdown with the video title, embed link, your notes, and a timestamp. Supports youtube.com and youtu.be URLs. All links are normalized and tracking parameters are stripped. Requires Obsidian 1.7.2 or later.
