Enable Mute pinned tabs default

Hello

Wondering if you can help me. I'm trying to roll out your extension in a school, but I need to have the 2nd option enabled by default and have the shortcut key disabled. Is there an easy way to achieve this please.

Seems to have stopped working as of today.

I'm going to restart my computer, as I've restarted chrome to try to fix, but it's not working, even though the settings are all as they've been for months. Thanks! Will check back afterwards.
