YouTube manager brings playback controls, search filters and useful video information together on desktop YouTube. WATCH WITH A FLEXIBLE LAYOUT • Keep native descriptions, comments and recommended videos in an adjustable right-hand panel. • Switch between Info, Comments and All tabs while watching. • Resize the panel from 340 to 620px by dragging its edge or using All settings. The video resizes with the available width. • Adjust bottom space from 0 to 320px to leave room for the title, channel information and controls. The default is 180px. • Theater mode, fullscreen and narrow screens keep YouTube’s layout. CONTROL PLAYBACK • Choose from five playback speeds: 1×, 1.25×, 1.5×, 1.75× and 2×. • Save a preferred speed for individual channels. A saved channel speed takes priority over the global default. • See the remaining viewing time adjusted for the actual playback speed. • Use A–B looping to repeat a selected section. • Use the back button beside the speed controls, or Shift+click YouTube links to open them in a new tab. • Where YouTube provides its Ask feature, use the native question panel beside the video. SAVE USEFUL MOMENTS • Bookmark a video timestamp and add a note. • Search saved bookmarks by video title or note. • Edit notes, delete bookmarks and browse saved entries in a separate management window. • Manage or remove saved channel playback speeds from All settings. SEARCH WITH MORE CONTROL Choose conditions from a single Search options button beside YouTube’s search box: • Upload period: any time, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 30 days or last 365 days. • Content type: videos, Shorts, channels, playlists or movies. • Duration: under 3 minutes, 3–20 minutes or over 20 minutes. • Priority: relevance or popularity. • Additional features: Live, 4K, HD, Subtitles, Creative Commons, 360°, VR180, 3D, HDR, Location and Purchased. Keep your filters across repeated searches and page changes, or clear them when needed. Search controls follow YouTube’s light and dark themes. FILTER HOME RECOMMENDATIONS • Apply upload period, Videos/Shorts and duration to recommendations loaded on Home. • Sorting, additional features and channel, playlist or movie types apply only to search. • Reuse existing video information and cached upload times to check missing dates or lengths, including for Shorts. • Load matching recommendations automatically, then continue by scrolling or selecting Load more recommendations when the automatic fill limit is reached. • With Keep filters disabled, choices made on Home apply only to that page. Date filters use available timestamps and date information. Cards whose required date or duration cannot be confirmed are excluded while the corresponding filter is active. Choosing any time, clearing the relevant condition or disabling the feature restores the corresponding unfiltered view. The extension filters recommendations supplied by YouTube; it does not create a separate recommendation feed. A first information lookup may take time, and Home may show no Shorts if none of the loaded Shorts matches the selected period. SEE MORE VIDEO AND CHANNEL INFORMATION • Show available channel names, channel icons, subscriber counts, views and upload times. • Add channel details and upload ages to Shorts lists. • Keep Shorts information and playback controls responsive to comments, descriptions and screen size. • Choose which supplementary information appears. SETTINGS AND LANGUAGES Use quick settings for everyday changes and All settings for playback, panels, search, video tools and illustrated guidance. Settings save automatically in this browser. Supports 14 languages: English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Hindi and Arabic. Arabic includes right-to-left layouts for extension screens. PRIVACY AND ADVERTISING Settings, saved filters, bookmarks, notes, channel speeds and cached video/channel information are stored locally in this browser. The extension requests information directly from YouTube when needed for its information and Home-filtering features. Search date filtering uses available page dates and cached information without separate per-video verification requests. The extension contains labeled affiliate advertisements. Banner images are bundled with the extension. No external advertising or tracking scripts are used. Clicking a banner opens the advertiser’s or affiliate partner’s website in a new tab.
