Features: - Bilingual web reading: compare translated paragraphs with the original, show or hide results, cancel and retry. - Selection lookup: view translations or imported dictionary entries, then explicitly request AI assistance when you want more detail. - AI text translation: type or paste into a separate window, choose a language and a scene such as email or work, copy results or refine a particular translation. - Local cache reuse: restore existing translations without automatically calling a service to fill cache misses. - Local dictionaries and learning: import compatible dictionaries you have rights to use and manage saved words and enabled reading records. - YouTube caption assistance: bilingual, translated-only and original modes when the video provides usable captions and a supported translation method is ready. Availability depends on the video, website and service. Getting started: open settings, select a method and complete its setup. AI features require a compatible service and model you configure. Cloud API usage may cost money; a chatbot subscription does not automatically include API access. Free website translation services may stop working or impose limits. Chrome local translation depends on your browser, device, languages and model resources. Dictionary lookup requires an import; no complete dictionary is bundled. Privacy and control: requests go directly to the selected service. Free-online automatic mode may select another candidate according to availability. Services can receive submitted content and relevant context as described in the privacy policy. Settings, caches, dictionaries and learning data stay on your device; the extension includes no advertising or usage analytics. You can disable automatic behavior and manage or remove saved data.
