Overview

Shows whether a job's employer is a licensed UK visa sponsor, with a Skilled Worker salary estimate. Not legal advice.

Jobola tells you whether the company behind a UK job advert holds a Home Office licence to sponsor Skilled Worker visas — on the job page itself, before you spend an hour on the application. HOW IT WORKS Open a job on LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, Totaljobs or CV-Library. Jobola reads the employer name already shown on the page and checks it against the Home Office register of licensed sponsors. On a results page, every job card gets a pill: ✓ Licensed sponsor ✕ Not a licensed sponsor ~ Several possible matches Open a job and a panel shows the matched register entry in full — the exact registered company name, its town, and the licence types it holds. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOESN'T KNOW Company names on job boards rarely match the register exactly. When several licensed companies share a name, and Jobola cannot tell which one is hiring, it says "several possible matches" rather than guessing. A confident wrong answer is worse than no answer. YOUR SEARCHES STAY ON YOUR MACHINE The register is downloaded from gov.uk and stored on your own device, and every check runs locally. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server that sees which jobs you look at. Nothing about your browsing is ever transmitted anywhere. WHAT IT IS NOT Jobola reports what published government data says about an employer. It is not immigration advice, and it does not assess whether you qualify for a visa. A sponsor licence means an employer is able to sponsor someone — not that it will sponsor this role, or you. Always verify on gov.uk before making a decision that matters. Sponsor data from the Home Office register of licensed sponsors, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Home Office, GOV.UK, or any job board.
