Local Reader Bridge

Capture the current logged-in page and send it to a local MCP reader.

Local Reader Bridge lets you capture the current browser page after an explicit user action and send the captured content to a user-configured reader bridge endpoint. By default, captures are sent to the local bridge service at `http://localhost:3010/capture`. The local service stores approved captures and exposes them to MCP-compatible tools such as AI coding agents or local readers. The extension can capture the page title, URL, visible text, selected text, page metadata, headings, links, image alt text, form-control labels, table summaries, and structured-data summaries. It does not capture pages in the background and does not read browser cookies, passwords, or hidden browser profile data. A cloud endpoint can be configured manually. Non-local endpoints require a bearer token. The local bridge service must be installed and running separately.
