WHAT IT DOES • Checks sites as they open New sites get a deep scan from the LinkShieldAI API. If a site is flagged, the tab switches to a clear warning with a safe way back. • Search Advisor Safety icons appear next to Google and Bing results, so you can see which links are safe before you click them. • Silent or scanning screen Browse without interruptions while new sites are checked in the background, or hold new sites on a scanning screen until the result is in. • Trusted sites Mark a site as trusted and it is never checked again. • Optional NSFW warnings Get a warning before adult sites open. Off unless you turn it on. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY • Over 19,000 well-known sites are never sent for checking. • Every result is reused for days, so a site is checked once, not on every visit. • Addresses on your own computer or home network are never sent. • Nothing to configure. PRIVACY To check a site, LinkShieldAI sends its address to the LinkShieldAI API. For most sites that is only the site name, never what you type or your cookies.
