SCOPIEL turns your Chrome new tab into a calm, beautiful command center — fast to open, easy on the eyes, and built for everyday use. WHAT YOU GET • A big clock, a friendly greeting and a fast search bar over gorgeous wallpapers. The whole interface adapts to light or dark wallpapers automatically. • Notes with rich text: colours, highlights, headings, lists, links and folders. Press Alt+letter to colour text, Alt+Shift+letter to highlight, Alt+X to reset to normal. Export any note as .txt or .html. • Pin up to six notes to your home screen as colourful or transparent glass cards, in a fan or a folder layout. • Tasks and a Pomodoro focus timer, each in its own drawer. The timer notifies you when it's time for a break. • Command palette (Ctrl+K): open any panel, switch search engines, change wallpapers, start a timer, search your bookmarks or the web. • Quick links with real site icons you can drag, group like phone folders and edit, custom search engines, and a Ctrl-hover launchpad showing your most visited and recently visited sites. • A wallpaper library plus your own uploads (kept on your device), optional daily wallpaper, weather, an optional age countdown under the clock, and a first-run tour. • Settings for clock format, greeting name, search-menu style, edge-click gestures and more — every gesture can be switched off. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account and no sign-in. Your notes, tasks and settings are stored on your device. • Bookmarks, history and top sites are read on your device only, to show them to you. They are never uploaded. • No ads, no trackers, no analytics. • Location is used only if you press "Enable location", only for the weather. FREE SCOPIEL is free to use.
