You paste the post, paste the replies, explain who said what, and only then get something back. By the time you have done all that, you could have written the reply yourself. Reply Pilots begins with what is already rendered on your screen: the post itself, and the comments or message turns around it. That context is the whole difference between a response that would fit under any post and one that answers the point actually being discussed. It also means the draft knows what has already been said. It will not repeat the comment directly above it, and it will not answer a question nobody asked. Before it writes anything, the panel shows you what it read. If the page did not load cleanly, or a feed was still virtualising when you pressed the button, the context card turns amber and offers to look again rather than quietly drafting from nothing. A reply written from an empty read is worse than no reply at all, so that state is visible instead of silent. 🗣️ MAKING IT SOUND LIKE YOU Sounding generic is the usual complaint about AI-written replies. Too formal, too polished, too eager, or simply not how you talk. Your dashboard is where you fix that, once, and then stop thinking about it: ✅ A writing style and a tone of voice you define and reuse everywhere. ✅ Your business, your services, and the details you want available when a reply touches them. ✅ Six ready styles, from professional through friendly, helpful, informative and educational, or a custom one you write yourself. ✅ Three lengths, so a quick acknowledgement and a considered answer do not come out the same size. ✅ Guardrails for what must never be said: prices you have not approved, services you do not offer, claims you do not want made on your behalf. ✅ Separate preferences per platform, because a comment on a professional network and a reply on a photo app should not sound the same. There is also a button that learns from a page you are already on. Open something you wrote, press it, and your phrasing, sentence length and habits are taken as a sample rather than described from memory. Most people find it easier to point at their own writing than to explain their own voice. An optional toggle mirrors the tone of the top comments on a post. Agencies and anyone running a personal account alongside a company account get the most out of this. 📄 SUMMARIZING BEFORE YOU ANSWER Some threads are too long to answer honestly without reading them, and too long to read. The summarizer condenses a comment section or a message thread into the shape of the discussion: what was asked, what was already answered, and where it turned. Use it before you reply to a thread you have been away from, or before you decide whether a thread is worth your time at all. It is also the fastest way to catch up on a conversation someone has escalated to you, where the history matters and only the last message is in front of you. ✏️ REWRITING WHAT YOU ALREADY WROTE You will not always want the first draft written for you. Often you know exactly what to say and want it to land better. Paste or type your own version and have it made clearer, warmer, shorter, more detailed, or more professional. The original stays on screen next to the rewrite, so you can take the new version, keep your own, or take one sentence from each. This is the part people end up using most once the novelty of full drafting wears off. 🔍 READING ANYTHING ON THE PAGE Highlight text anywhere on the web and a small toolbar appears. From there you can ask for a short summary or a plain-English explanation of what you selected. It is not limited to social sites. A dense paragraph in a contract, a support article that buries the answer, a technical post in a field that is not yours: the selection tools work on any page you choose to use them on. The same options are on the right-click menu, under Writing and Reading, when a toolbar would be in the way. 📝 WHEN YOU ARE STARTING, NOT REPLYING Replying is most of the work, but not all of it. Reply Pilots also drafts posts, captions and hashtags when you are the one starting the conversation, using the same voice, business context and rules that shape your replies. Whatever you have taught it about how you write applies whether you are answering someone or opening with something new. 🗂️ YOUR HISTORY Every draft is kept. Your dashboard holds what you generated, where you generated it, and which style produced it, with a link back to the post or thread it belongs to. That turns into something more useful than a log. It shows which of your styles you actually reach for, what you have already said to someone who has come back a second time, and which phrasings you kept unedited rather than rewriting. It is also simply a way to find a good reply you wrote three weeks ago and adapt it. 🎚️ STAYING IN CONTROL OF WHERE IT APPEARS An assistant that is always present is an assistant that is in the way. Reply Pilots can be switched off for any individual site, for an hour, for the rest of the day, or until you turn it back on. While a site is muted, nothing is injected into its pages at all. The button does not appear, nothing is read, and nothing is sent. Turning it back on is done from the extension's popup or from your dashboard, both of which stay reachable whatever you have muted. 👤 WHO USES IT Social media managers and agencies working a full comment queue across several accounts, where the cost is not any one reply but the hundredth reply of the day sounding like the first. Founders and creators who answer everybody, and who know that the answering is what built the audience, right up until it starts eating the day. The full list is shown on the install screen and in the extension's popup, so you always know exactly where it is active. The highlight-to-summarize and explain tools work on any page you choose to use them on. 🔒 WHAT IT DOES NOT DO 🔒 It never posts, sends, likes, follows or messages on your behalf. Every draft goes into the composer for you to review and send yourself. There is no automatic mode, and there is no setting that adds one. 🔒 It never scrapes and never scrolls a page for you. It reads only what is already rendered on a page you opened yourself. 🔒 Drafting happens only when you press a button. One feature works without a click, and we disclose it here: when you are viewing a Facebook or LinkedIn group or page you follow, Reply Pilots reads the posts already on that screen, with their public like and comment counts, so your content planner can rank which of your sources actually perform. That is limited to group and page URLs, never runs on your home feed or on profiles, sends only what is already on screen, and stops entirely when you mute the site or sign out. Your own posts and drafts are never read this way. 🔒 It holds no AI provider keys. Requests are made by our server, not by your browser. 🔒 It does not read your screen in the background anywhere else. Sign in there once and the extension connects itself. There are no API keys to copy, and no key of any kind is stored in the extension. Your dashboard is where everything lives: which platforms are switched on, your saved styles and prompts, your business context and rules, your history, and your usage. The extension's popup will show "Connected". 🔹 Set your writing style and your business context. Five minutes here is what separates a draft you send from a draft you rewrite. 🔹 Open a post or a conversation, click into the box, and press the Reply Pilots button. An account is required. Sign up free at app.reply-pilots.com. 🔐 WHAT LEAVES YOUR BROWSER Worth being precise about, because "reads the page" deserves a straight answer. When you press a button, the post and the visible conversation are sent to our server, which produces the draft and sends it back. That is the whole transaction. Nothing is sent before you press, nothing is sent from a site you have muted, and nothing is sent from a page where you never opened the panel. The draft and the page it came from are kept in your history so you can find them later. You can delete anything in there. Your AI provider key, if you add one, is held in your account rather than in the extension, and no key of any kind ships inside the extension itself. What is never collected: your password, your platform logins, your private profile data, or anything from a page you did not act on. 🛠️ IF THE BUTTON DOES NOT APPEAR Four things cause it, in roughly the order they happen. The site is muted. Check the extension's popup, which lists what you have switched off and lets you switch it back on. You are signed out. The popup will say so instead of showing "Connected". Open app.reply-pilots.com, sign in, and the extension reconnects itself. The composer has not been clicked into yet. The button attaches to a comment box or message composer once that box exists on screen, so click into it first. The page had not finished rendering. Long feeds load in pieces, and a button cannot attach to something that is not there yet. Reload and try again. If the panel opens but says it could not read the page, press Retry. Feeds redraw constantly and a second look usually succeeds. It is deliberate that it tells you rather than quietly drafting from an empty read, because a confident reply to a post nobody read is worse than no reply. ❓ COMMON QUESTIONS Does it post anything automatically? No. Every draft is placed in the composer and waits for you. You edit it and you send it. Nothing is published without you pressing your own platform's own button. Can I tell it things it must never say? Yes. Your rules can name prices you have not approved, services you do not offer, and claims you do not want made for you. Those apply to every draft. Will replies sound the same as everyone else's? Only if you skip setup. The styles, the business context and the voice sample are what separate your drafts from generic output, and they take a few minutes once. Does it work in direct messages as well as comments? Yes. It reads the conversation on screen and drafts your next message, in message threads and in your webmail inbox as well as under posts. What happens to what it reads? It is sent to our server to produce the draft you asked for, and your dashboard keeps the result in your history so you can find it later. Nothing is read while a site is muted. Do I need my own AI key? No. Add one if you prefer to run on your own account, but the extension works without one. Can I switch it off on one site and keep it on elsewhere? Yes, for an hour, for the rest of the day, or indefinitely. Muted sites get nothing injected at all. Is there a free account? Yes. Sign up at app.reply-pilots.com and set your style before you install, or after. Either order works. Does it work on more than one account? Yes. You can hold separate writing preferences and switch between them from the popup. The styles offered in the panel follow whichever one you are writing as. Can my team share the same setup? Your styles, business context and rules live in your account rather than in the browser, so the people you work with can write to the same brief without copying anything between machines. Does it need access to my password or my login? No. It never sees either. It works from what is rendered on the page you already have open, in the browser session you are already signed into. What happens if I uninstall it? The extension stops immediately and nothing is left behind in the browser. Your account and your history stay on your dashboard until you delete them. Is there anything it will not write? Whatever you tell it not to. Rules you set for prices, services and claims apply to every draft, and they are the first thing worth filling in.
