NutriScan — Recipe Companion
Overview
Review recipe ingredients, estimate nutrition, and save a meal to NutriScan.
NutriScan Recipe Companion helps adults 18 or older review recipe ingredients and estimate nutrition before logging a meal to their NutriScan account. On a recipe webpage, choose “Find recipe on this tab” to read its recipe ingredients, or paste ingredients manually. Check and edit the recipe name, quantities, and serving yield. Opening the extension does not send the page for AI analysis. Analysis starts only after you choose “Analyze recipe.” Review estimated carbohydrates, calories, protein, and fat per serving, together with confidence and uncertainty notes. Select the number of portions and a meal category, then save the reviewed estimate to your NutriScan meal log. Unknown nutrient values appear as unavailable, not zero. Requires an existing NutriScan email/password account. Google and Apple sign-in are not available in this extension. The extension sends the reviewed recipe text to NutriScan’s backend for AI analysis only when you choose Analyze. Estimates are informational and may be inaccurate. NutriScan does not diagnose conditions or recommend insulin doses or treatment. Need help? Visit getnutriscan.com/contact.
