Overview

Extract numeric codes from URLs, jump to related pages, and save ratings and notes per code. JSON import/export.

Numdex (formerly "Page Jumper") extracts numeric codes — such as stock codes or zip codes — from the URL of the page you are visiting, and helps you jump to related pages, rate each code, and keep notes. How it works - Extracts numeric codes from the current URL, or from text you have selected on the page. The numeric range can be customized in the settings (default: positive integers of 4 or more digits). - Jump to your chosen destination URLs from the popup or the right-click context menu. - Rate each code as good, neutral, or bad, and save a memo. A one-click button appends the current page title to the memo. - The popup shows the 10 most recent ratings. A separate "All Ratings" page lets you filter, sort, edit, import, and export your saved data. Examples If you are searching for rental properties in Mountain View on Zillow and open https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_rent/94041_rb/ Numdex extracts "94041" (the zip code). You can then jump to nearby Bank of America branches: https://locators.bankofamerica.com/?q=94041 If you like the area, rate "94041" as good and your Chrome remembers it. (I live in Japan and originally built this to jump from Yahoo Finance Japan https://finance.yahoo.co.jp/quote/7974.T to Minkabu https://minkabu.jp/stock/7974 and save my impressions of stocks.) Destination URLs Configure your destinations in the settings screen. The extracted code is appended to the end of the URL by default, or you can place it inline using %s: Example: https://finance.yahoo.co.jp/quote/%s.T Other features - An on-page rating indicator (a floating badge) on sites you enable in the settings. - JSON import/export for ratings, with an option to also include destination URLs, enabled sites, extraction range, and language. - UI available in English, Japanese, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. This extension is free. A "Buy me a coffee" link is available in the settings screen.
