Nudge

Overview
A pixel mascot waves in your browser when Claude Code has a question, needs permission, or is done. Local only.
You start a task in Claude Code, switch to the browser "just for a second", and ten minutes later Claude has been sitting on a permission prompt the whole time. Nudge fixes that. A small pixel mascot appears in the corner of whatever tab you're on when Claude Code: - asks you a question (with the options shown in a speech bubble) - needs permission to run something - finishes working (with its final message, expandable) - has been idle waiting for you The longer you ignore a question, the harder Nudge tries: it walks to the center, grows, taps its foot, and finally plays a short alarm. Pick Gentle or Full Chaos, or turn escalation off. Snooze for five minutes if you're mid-thought. Answering in the terminal dismisses it everywhere. Privacy: everything stays on your machine. The extension talks to a tiny local relay on 127.0.0.1 that only accepts connections from the extension. No accounts, no analytics, no servers. After you install it, a setup page opens with the command to copy: https://nudge-mascot.vercel.app Works with Claude Code hooks (Stop, Notification, AskUserQuestion). Requires Node 18+ and Chrome 116+. Independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. "Claude" and "Claude Code" are trademarks of Anthropic.
