Ntfyx brings AI agent notifications and phone-authorized replies to Chrome. Keep your agent conversations within reach while you work in Chrome 120 or later. Ntfyx is a browser receiver for your existing Ntfyx Inbox. Authorize this browser from the Ntfyx app on your phone, then receive messages from the agents, scripts and services you connect. No additional Ntfyx account is required. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Receive desktop notifications and see the unread count on the toolbar. • Browse Topics and Sessions, with the latest activity shown for each conversation. • Allow or deny a request, choose an option, or quote a question and type a reply. • Find the answer and its delivery status below the original message. • Keep the same message organization and reply rules as the phone app. DISCOVER NOTIFICATION SOURCES Browse official sources, starting with Technology digest, and inspect their sources and public previews. Subscribe and manage from the phone app 1.2.0 or later, then authorize Chrome for that Topic to receive future messages. Phone app review and public availability are tracked separately. This first source contains daily English Hacker News headlines and original links; there is no third-party paid marketplace or automatic translation. MESSAGES STAY ENCRYPTED Message titles, bodies, choices and replies are encrypted for authorized receivers. This browser decrypts locally. The service still processes the routing identifiers, timing, sizes and states needed to deliver messages. The hosted official publisher knows the public content it creates and the settings needed for delivery; this gives it no access to private agent messages. Encryption does not protect a compromised computer or hide all metadata. START WITH YOUR PHONE Install the Ntfyx iPhone or Android app and open the extension's connection screen. Scan the code, choose a Topic and approve this browser on your phone. Add and authorize each additional Topic separately. Each receiver has independent keys; a newly authorized browser receives newly addressed messages, not the phone's entire past history. You can revoke its access from your phone or disconnect locally. USE YOUR EXISTING TOOLS Send notifications with the Ntfyx CLI or connect a supported agent integration. Claude Code and Codex require their documented setup; this extension does not automatically read or control other browser pages or terminal prompts. Assign a Session ID to keep related messages together. Without a Session ID, each message starts its own session. AVAILABILITY Chrome must be running for background checks and notifications. Sleep, offline mode, browser policies and operating-system notification settings can delay delivery. Open the Inbox to synchronize when you return. Catch-up alerts highlight the latest conversations; all received messages remain available in the Inbox. Sending a reply does not prove that an agent has executed the requested action; check the actual status. The extension follows the existing Inbox plan: Free supports one active personal Topic; Ntfyx Plus supports up to twenty. Up to three pilot notification-source subscriptions have a separate allowance. One Topic can contain multiple sources and sessions.
