Modern, fast and customizable new tab page with smart bookmark management

NTab turns your new tab into a clean bookmark dashboard. Organize bookmarks into responsive multi-column cards, search quickly, and keep everyday browsing tools together. KEY FEATURES • Automatic column sizing: non-empty columns share the available width. Drag to create up to 10 visible columns; empty columns are removed automatically. Adjust horizontal whitespace and alignment to position the content area. • Flexible bookmark layout: reorder cards, nest folders, and move bookmarks with drag and drop. • Batch management: select multiple bookmarks and move or delete them together. • Local recovery: restore recently deleted bookmarks and folders from the seven-day recovery list. • Optional link checking: check bookmarked URLs using HEAD or fallback GET requests. Status codes help identify possible problems; login requirements and website restrictions can affect results. • Search shortcuts: switch between web search engines and supported AI services from the search bar. • Appearance settings: choose themes, font sizes, spacing, and compact layouts. • Optional Top Sites and Recently Closed cards use browser information locally. OPTIONAL GOOGLE CONFIGURATION BACKUP Core bookmark management works without an account. Google sign-in checks for configuration backups without applying them automatically. Manually back up preferences and bookmark folder layout references to your own Google Drive application data folder, or enable automatic backup separately for each account on each device. While NTab is open, configuration changes are backed up after approximately 10 seconds of inactivity. Cloud restore requires confirmation and keeps a local snapshot for undo. Cloud version changes pause uploads and prompt you to choose which configuration to use. Expired authorization requires signing in again. Multiple NTab tabs coordinate uploads on the same device. New cloud backups retain previous versions; participating devices should use the latest extension version. This feature does not back up or recreate your complete bookmark tree. Browser history is not included in Drive configuration backups. PRIVACY NTab includes no advertising, tracking code, or analytics SDKs. Some preferences use Chrome sync storage. Google account information, the current access token, automatic-backup preferences, pending configuration changes and restore snapshots are stored locally.
