WHAT YOU CAN DO - Save selected text from a web page with its source link. - Save one supported public X post from its Save2Brain action, the toolbar, or the right-click menu on an exact post link. - Open your Save2Brain Inbox to follow processing and find editable, source-linked learning cards. - Keep useful knowledge for yourself and, through separate approval in Save2Brain, let your chosen AI tools read it. - Disconnect this browser from extension settings. HOW SAVING WORKS When you confirm a selected-text save, the extension sends the selected text, page address, optional note, and minimal capture metadata to your configured Save2Brain server. Clicking Save2Brain on an X post sends that exact post address and identifier. The server may retrieve the selected post, bounded conversation context, and supported media, then process the evidence using the service providers described in our Privacy policy. Processing may create learning cards, find no reusable learning, or report an item that needs attention. AI output can be inaccurate; your learnings remain editable. A successful save receipt confirms submission, not that processing has finished. YOUR CONTROL AND PRIVACY Nothing is submitted merely because you open a page, select text, or scroll X. The extension does not keep a continuous browsing-history log or collect your cookies, X login session, private messages, likes, or bookmarks. The page title stays in the temporary local draft and is not included in the capture request. Your browser stores a revocable connection credential. Explicitly submitted captures that encounter a temporary failure can remain in a local retry queue of up to 20 items for no more than seven days. Disconnecting successfully revokes this installation's access and clears its credentials and queued captures. If the server is unreachable, the extension reports that disconnection did not complete. An extension connection does not grant an AI tool access to your library. Agent Access is a separate, user-approved, read-only service feature. ACCOUNT AND SERVICE ACCESS A Save2Brain account with service access is required. Processing is subject to your plan, available processing credits, and supported source/provider availability. Captures that include video require an eligible paid plan. The extension connects to save2brain.com by default. Installing it does not purchase a subscription or supply processing credits.
