Overview

Displays Julian day-of-year numbers directly in Google Calendar's monthly view.

Darling DayCode adds Julian day-of-year numbers directly to Google Calendar’s monthly view, making it easy to identify any date by its numbered position within the year. The day numbers appear discreetly in the upper-right corner of each calendar date cell without creating calendar events or changing your existing appointments. FEATURES • Displays the three-digit day of the year, from 001 through 365 or 366 • Works directly in Google Calendar’s monthly view • Offers three display formats: – 252 – JD 252 – Military-style YDDD format, such as 6252 for day 252 of 2026 • Optional subtle background shading for improved readability • Quickly turn day numbers on or off • Automatically handles leap years • Correctly displays dates that cross from December into January • Includes a compact layout for higher browser zoom levels • Saves your preferred settings between visits SIMPLE AND UNOBTRUSIVE Darling DayCode places the information where you need it while keeping your calendar appointments readable. It does not create extra events, modify existing events, or add a separate calendar. PRIVACY-FRIENDLY The extension works locally in your browser. It does not collect, sell, or transmit personal information. Its only saved information is your selected display preferences. HOW TO USE 1. Install Darling DayCode. 2. Open Google Calendar in your browser. 3. Select the Month view. 4. Julian day numbers will appear automatically. 5. Click the Darling DayCode extension icon to change the number format, background shading, or visibility.
