doesn't work on gdocs

I love this extension, but sadly I had to turn it off because it was causing trouble for me to work in https://platform.openai.com/playground/assistants. I causes some glitching and I has to turn it off to continue working. Let me know if you get this to work and I'll turn it back on.

Great extension but I noticed it messes up the Gmail interface (creates a blank white strip at the top and on the left side). Confirmed this because the issue went away when I turned the extension off (and came back when I turned it back on). Thought you should know.

Simple and easy! Could be improved by not counting any characters at all when there is no text selected (but mostly I just turn it off when I don't want to use it)
