NovaProxy Proxy Manager
Overview
Manage and connect to custom proxy servers with a slick modern interface.
NovaProxy's proxy manager for Chrome built around a side-panel interface — designed for people who switch proxies often: QA engineers, web developers, researchers, sneaker and ticketing power users, and anyone juggling more than two HTTP or HTTPS endpoints throughout the day. Save your proxies once, then switch between them with a single click. Every connection is monitored, auto-recovers from tunnel failures, and shows you exactly where your traffic is exiting from in real time. KEY FEATURES • One-click switching — connect, disconnect, or jump between saved proxies straight from the side panel. • HTTP and HTTPS — works with any standard proxy scheme. • Authentication built in — username/password proxies "just work" via Chrome's native auth flow. • Auto-reconnect — if your tunnel drops, the extension detects the failure and re-establishes the connection automatically. • Live geo-IP — see the country, city, ISP and exit IP of your active proxy at a glance, with a country-flag indicator. • Per-site bypass rules — keep banking, work apps or local development direct, while everything else routes through your proxy. Wildcard patterns supported (e.g. *.example.com). • One-tap "bypass this site" — add the current page to your bypass list straight from the side panel, no manual editing required. • Optional on-page indicator — a small heads-up bar shows PROXY, BYPASS, DIRECT or ERROR on every tab so you always know your routing state. • Bulk import & export — manage your list as TXT, CSV or JSON. Drag-and-drop reordering. URL-format paste supported. • Keep-alive monitoring — periodic health checks confirm your proxy is still reachable. • Visual status — the toolbar icon turns green when connected and red on errors, so you know at a glance. WHO IT'S FOR • QA engineers and web developers testing geo-restricted features • Researchers and journalists who require location flexibility • Sneaker, ticketing, and eCommerce power users running rotating endpoints • Anyone tired of digging through Chrome's network settings to change a proxy PRIVACY NovaProxy's Proxy Manager stores everything locally in your browser — your proxy list, credentials, bypass rules, and settings never leave your device. The only outbound request the extension itself makes is a public IP lookup (via ip-api.com) so it can show you the country and city of your active proxy. Disable any spoofing feature you don't want; nothing privacy-sensitive is enabled by default. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. PERMISSIONS — WHY WE ASK • Host access to all sites: required so the extension can route any URL you visit through the proxy you choose. • webRequest: used solely to handle proxy authentication challenges (username/password prompts). • proxy: applies the connection settings to Chrome. • storage: saves your proxy list, bypass rules and preferences locally. • tabs: detects the active tab so the side panel can show "bypass this site" for the current host. • alarms: schedules the periodic keep-alive health check. • sidePanel: powers the main UI.
