Every connection is monitored, auto-recovers from tunnel failures, and shows you exactly where your traffic is exiting from in real time. The only outbound request the extension itself makes is a public IP lookup (via ip-api.com) so it can show you the country and city of your active proxy. Disable any spoofing feature you don't want; nothing privacy-sensitive is enabled by default. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. PERMISSIONS — WHY WE ASK • Host access to all sites: required so the extension can route any URL you visit through the proxy you choose. • webRequest: used solely to handle proxy authentication challenges (username/password prompts). • proxy: applies the connection settings to Chrome. • storage: saves your proxy list, bypass rules and preferences locally. • tabs: detects the active tab so the side panel can show "bypass this site" for the current host. • alarms: schedules the periodic keep-alive health check. • sidePanel: powers the main UI.
