Overview
Strip ads and clutter to read any article, then copy it as Markdown or save it as PDF. Everything stays in your browser.
Read any article without ads, sidebars and sticky banners — then take the text with you. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the article you want to read 2. Click the Nova Reader icon and press "Open in reader" 3. Adjust the type to your liking, then copy or print it FEATURES - Clean reading view: only the article text and its images, nothing else - Adjust text size, line height, column width, and switch between sans and serif - Four themes: auto (follows your system), light, dark and sepia — your settings are remembered - Copy as Markdown, with the title and the source URL already in place — ideal for notes and drafts - Copy as plain text, or print the article / save it as PDF without the toolbar - Estimated reading time for the article PRIVACY - No data collection, no tracking, no external servers. The page is processed in your browser and never leaves your device. - No host permissions. The extension only touches the tab you invoke it on, and only while you use it. - The page content is kept in session memory only and is gone when you close the browser. NOTES - Browser pages (chrome://) and the Web Store cannot be read — that is a browser restriction. - Some pages have no article text to extract (search results, dashboards). Nova Reader will tell you instead of showing an empty page. MORE FREE TOOLS Nova Reader is part of Novare Orbis, a collection of free in-browser tools (converters, editors and more): https://novare-orbis.com Available in English, 日本語, 中文, 한국어, Español and Français.
