Before writing, Notrove always re-reads the latest data and merges your change into it, so overlapping edits never wipe each other out. A local backup is kept at all times. PER-CARD PIN LOCK Lock any note with its own PIN. Locked notes are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from your PIN — the content can't be read without it. Cards automatically re-lock after 60 minutes of inactivity, and you can re-lock an unlocked card instantly with a single tap whenever you want. REORDER & ORGANIZE Drag and drop to reorder freely. Pin your most-used notes to the top. Sort all notes by title (ascending or descending). Collapse cards to keep the view tidy. SEARCH Search titles and content in real time, with a live match count. Locked notes are only searchable by title, keeping their contents private. COPY TO CLIPBOARD Copy a note's content to your clipboard with a single tap — perfect for pasting into other apps or chats (locked notes must be unlocked first). CHOOSE YOUR STORAGE Switch between "local" (this device only) and "sync" (synced across devices via your Google Account). With "sync" selected, your notes automatically sync across every device signed into the same Google Account in Chrome — for example, your home and work computers (Chrome's own sync setting must be turned on). Chrome sync has a per-item size limit, so if you tend to write very long notes, "local" storage is the safer choice. You can switch storage mode anytime from settings; switching copies your current notes into both storage areas first, so nothing is lost in the process. LIGHT & DARK MODE Follows your system theme automatically, or switch manually between light and dark. ■ About your privacy All notes are stored in your browser's own storage (Chrome storage) — nothing is ever sent to an external server. Note: once a card is locked and encrypted, its content can't be recovered without the PIN, even by you.
