NoteNudge brings your Obsidian daily notes into your browser — one click away, always. If you use Obsidian for daily planning, NoteNudge lets you view, capture, and check off tasks without ever leaving Chrome. No syncing, no cloud, no accounts — it reads directly from the folder on your computer. ── CAPTURE IN SECONDS ── Type a task and hit Enter to drop it into Actionables, or click ⚡ Needle Movers to route it to your high-priority section. New notes are created automatically with a structured template (Plan / Needle Movers / Actionables) so you never start from a blank page. ── BROWSE YOUR NOTES ── Scroll through past and upcoming days on the date strip at the top. Tap the calendar icon to jump to any date across any month — past or future. ── READ AND EDIT ── Notes render in clean, formatted markdown — headings, bold, italics, code, task lists, highlights, wikilinks, and tags. Switch to split-pane edit mode to write raw markdown with a live preview side by side. ── INTERACTIVE TASK LISTS ── Tap any checkbox to mark it done. The change writes back to your .md file instantly, so your Obsidian vault stays in sync. ── DARK MODE ── Flip the toggle in the top bar. Your preference is remembered across sessions. ── HOW IT WORKS ── 1. Click the NoteNudge icon in your Chrome toolbar 2. Select your Obsidian daily notes folder (one-time setup) 3. Your today's note opens immediately NoteNudge uses the browser's File System Access API to read and write files directly on your machine. No data is ever sent to a server. ── PRIVACY ── NoteNudge works entirely offline. It accesses only the folder you explicitly select. No data leaves your device, ever. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Compatible with Obsidian's default daily note format: YYYY-MMM-DD.md (e.g. 2025-Mar-01.md).
