NoteHarbor — ChatGPT to Obsidian

Save chosen ChatGPT conversations, images and exports to your Obsidian vault locally. No helper or AI key required.

Save the ChatGPT conversations worth keeping into your own Obsidian vault. Save the current conversation from a small ChatGPT page toolbar, or collect answers beside the messages themselves. Selected answers include their preceding prompts. Import an official JSON/ZIP export for older history in Manage. Optional updates follow only the conversations and message ranges you enable. Review conflicts before replacing a locally edited transcript, with older versions preserved. Open a ChatGPT conversation and click NoteHarbor. Choose your vault once in Manage, then return to the chat to save. Read the source and add your own thinking through the personal-note link. Manage keeps recent saves, import and recovery tools together. English and Simplified Chinese are available. No separate helper or AI key is needed. Your conversations are processed on your device. Optional attachment downloads contact their original sources. Folder and optional website access are granted by you. Chat availability and export content determine what can be archived; a complete account backup is not guaranteed. Audio/video require downloadable source links; separate document panels may need an exported file. Online downloads are limited to 16 MiB each and 32 MiB per batch. For source files exported locally, attach files up to 64 MiB each and 256 MiB per batch to the conversation’s personal notes. Not affiliated with OpenAI or Obsidian.
