NoteCut — Review Notes to Markers
Overview
Turn review notes from Vimeo, Docs, Gmail, or Notion into markers for Resolve, Premiere, Avid, and FCP. All local.
NoteCut turns timecoded review notes from anywhere in your browser into marker files for your editing timeline. Highlight client feedback in Gmail, Google Docs, Notion, WhatsApp Web, or any other page and choose "Add selection to NoteCut." On supported review pages, open the NoteCut side panel and grab timecoded comments in one click. You can also paste a block of notes directly. Reviewing a cut in the browser? Play the video on any page and press Alt+Shift+M (or click "Mark playing video") to drop a frame-accurate marker at the playhead while you watch — even when the player lives in an embedded iframe. NoteCut recognizes common timecode styles, builds an editable marker list, applies your project frame rate and timeline offset, removes duplicates, and exports files for: - DaVinci Resolve — EDL markers - Adobe Premiere Pro — XML - Avid Media Composer — locator TXT - Final Cut Pro — FCPXML - Any workflow — CSV Project controls include 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, and 60 fps; drop-frame timecode; relative or absolute notes; custom offsets; editable marker colors; and a tray for lines without timecodes. Your notes stay private. Parsing, marker editing, storage, and export happen locally in Chrome. NoteCut has no account, analytics, advertising, cloud API, or server connection. Nothing you capture is transmitted.
